Who we are

At CafeKind, we believe in the power of connection, compassion, and community. Founded in 2015 in the heart of San Francisco, our 501(c)3 nonprofit organization is dedicated to promote mental health and well-being by fostering a sense of belonging and community.

Our mission is to eradicate loneliness and exclusion through acts of kindness, compassion and social justice. Over the years, we have supported over 3,000 women and their families, helping them to build stronger, healthier, and more connected lives.

We offer programs designed to encourage compassion, healthy relationships with self and others, self-sufficiency, community and well-being. We offer support groups, psychoeducation, sharing circles and group settings with professional facilitators, engagement in service activities, career coaching, job networking, job search support, and financial literacy.

As we expand our programming throughout California in 2024, we remain committed to our core values of kindness, compassion, authenticity and connectivity. Join us on our journey to create a world where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
